Traumatic Brain Injury Services
Are you feeling like no one understands what you are dealing with as the survivor of a traumatic brain injury? Beacon Place LLC has been providing services for survivors of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) for over ten years. Every staff person employed by Beacon Place receives special training in understanding the effects of a TBI and the unique needs of people living with the associated challenges of surviving a brain injury. We are here to help and support you and your family.

Telemental Health Services
Telemental health uses phones and videoconferencing technology to bring therapy, evaluations and medication management to where you are. This added convenience can alleviate travel issues and often means less time off work. If you have been hesitant to use mental health care in the past, this might be an easier first step than traditional mental health services. Beacon Place is an experienced telehealth provider having launched telehealth services in 2020 in response to the needs and interests of our clients.

About us
Our owner, Solomon Lebovits, began a quest in 2012 to find a way to do good in the communities of the Lower Hudson Valley. He contracted to have a community needs assessment conducted in Orange and Rockland counties to find the unmet home and community based services needs in the area. The results glaringly pointed to the need for supportive services for survivors of traumatic brain injuries. The seed was planted and the company has grown continuously ever since. The founding program of Beacon Place LLC was the Medicaid Waiver Traumatic Brain Injury Structured Day Program located in Highland Mills serving adults in Orange and surrounding counties. The goal was to create a model program that exceeded the minimum definition of services. A long- term commitment ensued to educate every employee as well as members of the community to the unique needs of survivors of TBI. Beacon Place LLC was awarded the New York State Senate Empire Award in October 2024 for recognition of our work with Traumatic Brain Injury.

Through the growing reputation of the agency, it soon became apparent that another gap in services existed—additional outpatient mental health providers were needed to increase access to mental health services in the community. The Beacon Place Mental Health Center received approval from NYS Office of Mental Health to open an Article 31, Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitative Services clinic in April 2023. The clinic is growing rapidly serving a variety of mental health needs represented by our clients.
